We celebrated National Volunteer Week with a function for 300 VMCH volunteers at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall.

The annual luncheon is an occasion where we acknowledge the significant contributions volunteers make to our organisation.

As individuals from a myriad of backgrounds, our community of 600 volunteers contribute in different ways to our aged care, disability, special education and community services areas.

From running craft and exercise classes in our aged care residences to supporting children with disabilities, they work with us to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society.  Collectively, our volunteers embody and reflect the values of VMCH including compassion, inclusion and respect.

A delicious two-course lunch was enjoyed at the event, and entertainment was provided by the fabulous and fun ‘3 Tenoz’ opera singers.
