VMCH’s very own Board Member and Chair, Bill Scales AO was “very privileged” to be awarded the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Life Fellowship at the 2018 Australian Governance Summit last Friday.

Bill is only one of 40 people to have been awarded a Fellowship. The Award recognises outstanding contribution to business and with over 50 years in the business, industry, government and not for profit sector, Bill is a worthy candidate.

In 1993, Bill was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for his services to industry and in 2003 he was awarded the Centenary Medal for outstanding service to Business and Commerce.

He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
