VMCH Ashwood is a welcoming aged care residence known for its compassionate care and strong reputation. With deep ties to the Cabrini network, the dedicated team – many of whom have been with the residence for years – provides personalised support to all residents.
Each of the 90 spacious rooms is filled with natural light and includes a private ensuite. Larger rooms are also available for couples, allowing them to share their aged care journey together.
For residents living with dementia, VMCH Ashwood offers a specialised 11-bed Memory Support Unit (MSU). This unit is designed to provide safe, supportive care tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
Located just 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, VMCH Ashwood also offers an Extra Services program for residents who appreciate a little added comfort. Premium options include additional physiotherapy sessions, monthly sweet treat surprises, visits to the in-house hair salon, and more.

Glenys is dedicated to using her specialised skills in clinical and aged care nursing to make VMCH Ashwood’s residents feel safe, happy and comfortable. In her six years at VMCH Ashwood, she has forged bonds with residents and their families and looks forward to creating more.
VMCH (Villa Maria Catholic Homes), formerly known two entities called Villa Maria and Catholic Homes, continues to uphold the same high standards of care and commitment to our residents. While our name has changed, our dedication to providing compassionate, personalised aged care services remains as strong as ever. We are proud to carry forward the legacy, now under the trusted banner of VMCH.
Pricing is dependent on individual means and asset testing. Payment can be made via a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a combination of both. Supported places are available.
