Star of the Sea Torquay

At Star of the Sea you’ll feel instantly welcomed.

Located near Torquay’s beautiful beach, Star of the Sea Aged Care Residence provides quality aged care for up to 96 residents in a modern, welcoming environment. Our community is active and engaged, with physio-led fitness classes, walking groups, and many programs to keep residents socially and physically active.

The on-site café, open to residents and the public, serves delicious barista-made coffee and a variety of treats. With a toybox and children’s books, it’s a hit with visiting grandkids too!

Co-located with a vibrant retirement village, Star of the Sea offers ‘ageing in place,’ allowing village residents to transition smoothly into aged care when needed. Our team supports every step, enhancing wellbeing and independence.

We go beyond what’s typical in an aged care facility with our Exclusive Club Services program, offering residents access to the Wellbeing and Fitness Club, Indulgence Club, and Entertainment Club. In October 2024, we completed a full ground-floor refurbishment, adding a gym, massage room, kiosk, and multipurpose room—all designed to elevate the aged care experience.
