Affordable Homes

We provide affordable places for older Australians to living in locations around Melbourne.

As part of our commitment to comfortable and secure housing for older Australians, VMCH provide affordable places to live in locations around Melbourne.

We’re aware of the increasing needs of people over the age of 55 and at risk of homelessness, to have a place to call home.

At the moment, we have 355 independent living units at 21 locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne.

Many of our homes are located in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, for people who want to be close to the community they’ve always lived.

We make sure, when we consider new developments, you are close to the places and services important to you. Like shops, public transport and where community gather, like the local parish church.

You’ll find a living room, kitchen, single bedroom and bathroom in your home. Some are even two-bedroom, allocated for couples.

Other features include:

  • Floor coverings
  • Window furnishings
  • Built-in robes
  • Split air conditioning systems
  • Some ground floor units have a small garden or enclosed courtyard
