Op Shop Warehouse Sale a great success

Did you know VMCH has four opportunity shops in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs?

Run mainly by volunteers, these fantastic stores not only offer local community members with a place to purchase affordable, pre-loved goods, but all funds raised go back into VMCH programs.

On March 21, VMCH held its inaugural Villa Op Shop Warehouse Summer Sale.

It was a true community event with around 400 shoppers popping in to our Wantirna site to bag some bargains, enjoy our fashion parade and a delicious sausage sizzle.

Seniors from our Wantirna aged care residence also came along, and it was great to have some hand-made items created by volunteers and the people we support for sale at the event.

A big thanks to our army of dedicated volunteers and staff who helped throughout the event.
