In all sincerity, VMCH at-home services have absolutely been a sanity-saver for me. The support has really helped me to lead as close-to-normal a life as possible, and we have a lot of fun. The support they provide helps me to continue to interact with friends, family and acquaintances, which is really important in keeping me engaged and enjoying my life.

My case manager has organised help and equipment for me. I am very fond of her. She helps me with the funding depending on what I need. She has done a lot for me, and I know I can contact her if I ever need any help, or if I want something changed.

I had to realise that as a carer I was burnt out and I needed help, and support. Luckily, we have been able to access some emergency Level 3 funding through (mum and dad’s) Home Care Package, for some additional support. VMCH have been a great help with getting what we needed for mum and dad.
