About our home

Our lovely home in central Ivanhoe was built in 2019 especially for young people with disability to live out of home independently. The home is fully accessible with wheelchair access throughout, large doorways, open living spaces and attention to design details, including sensory and entertainment spaces.

Fully appointed bedrooms with ensuites, bright light-filled interior spaces lead to beautifully landscaped gardens, perfect for entertaining and exploring.

We are looking for one person to share our beautiful home with two other young men. Situated near all Ivanhoe amenities including, Ivanhoe Plaza shops, Ivanhoe train station and local buses, parks, recreation centres, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

About the vacant room

The vacant room has built in robes and features cooling and heating for resident comfort in the winter and summer months.

The new housemate can furnish their rooms with their belongings to suit their personal style.

VMCH Supports

We offer support seven days a week, including a sleepover support model. VMCH is the support provider. The staff are skilled in supporting with people with dual disabilities.

Things you need to know

You must be 18 years or over to apply. As we are a registered NDIS Accommodation provider, you will need to have the appropriate Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding in your NDIS plan. You will need to be able to pay rent and utilities and establish a Residential Agreement.
