Japanese fabric art-kinusaiga class: Bacchus Marsh

Regional: Wed 23 July 2025, 11:00am - 1:30pm

Time to get creative

Japanese fabric art-kinusaiga is a striking Japanese textile art that puts even the smallest scraps of fabric to use. It’s part collage, part applique, part patchwork, but requires no sewing!

Rather than sewing, your design is cut into a thick backing board and fabric is then pressed into these cuts and pulled taut, creating 3D artworks that really pop!

Maria from Laneway Learning will guide your creation. All materials provided, just come along and try something new! Lunch and tea/coffee provided.

When:

Thursday 18 July, 6:30-8:30pm

Where:

The Brown Hill Hotel: 385 Humffray Street, Brown Hill
