The doors are open at Carinya and Shanagolden

VMCH will be holding open days for the Carinya Community Centre, Lysterfield and Shanagolden Community Centre, Pakenham.

This is a great opportunity to view the centres and learn about what we offer. There’s no need to RSVP, just come along and see what makes our fantastic services unique.

About Carinya Community Centre

Carinya offers 24 hour support in a home like environment, with overnight respite and centre-based and/or community group recreational activities for people living with dementia over the age of 65 years. We also support people under 65 with early onset dementia and/or short term memory loss under NDIS.

About Shanagolden Community Centre

We will be holding an open day for the VMCH Shanagolden Community Centre, Pakenham on Friday June 14. Shanagolden offers interesting, enjoyable and stimulating activities for those in Melbourne’s southern metropolitan region who are frail, aged over 65 years, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (aged over 50 years), or living with dementia.
