Understanding the New Support at Home program

Under the new Support at Home (SAH) Program, a defined service list will be introduced, categorising services into three key areas:

  • Clinical
  • Independance
  • Everyday.

Each category outlines the types of services available and participant contributions where applicable.

Clinical services

Delivered by qualified or accredited health professionals, clinical services help participants maintain or regain functional and cognitive abilities.

  • Nursing care
  • Allied health and other therapeutic services
  • Nutrition
  • Care management
  • Restorative care management.

Note: Clinical services are fully funded by the government, so participants will never have to pay out of pocket.
