Affordable Homes

Affordable Homes
Anglicare Rental Affordability Snapshot figures reveal just 0.8% of available housing stock in Australia is affordable and appropriate for a single person on an Age Pension. That’s where we come in.
We believe our nation’s older generation deserve access to safe and secure housing; a place where you can live your life to the fullest.
As part of our commitment to comfortable and secure housing, VMCH provides affordable homes to 421 people across 22 communities.

Our locations span the inner suburbs of Melbourne and are all conveniently located near shops, public transport and the local Catholic church.
It’s not just about having a roof over your head; we are here to ensure you feel comfortable, safe and connected to your community with access to Pastoral Care, home maintenance, gardening and personal support such as Home Care Packages.

Within our units you’ll find a living room, kitchen, single bedroom and bathroom. We also have a small number of two-bedroom units, which are allocated to couples.
Your home will also include:
- Split-system air conditioning
- Built-in robes
- Window furnishings
- Floor coverings.
Some ground floor units have a small garden or enclosed courtyard.
