Learn new skills, gain confidence and make friends at Community Connections.

Our Community Connections programs for children, teenagers and adults – run at our centres and out in the community – are designed to help you achieve your goals alongside people who share your interests.

Our Life Skills programs, part of Community Connections, are here to help you learn new skills, or build on those you’re already passionate about. Our fun and educational activities are run in a safe and supportive environments, so all you need to do is focus on what you want to achieve – and we’ll help you get there.

Activities are tailored around the interests of the group but could include, music making and dancing, cooking, budgeting, travel, going to the gym, the cinema, exercising, painting and creative arts, swimming, gardening, and much more.

Programs currently available in Melbourne, Ararat and Wangaratta.

Melbourne

Our Life Skill programs are for people aged over 18 and run on weekdays and weekends at VMCH centres in Camberwell, Mount Waverley and Wantirna.

Wangaratta and Ararat

We have programs for children, teenagers and people aged over 18. We have a wide range of afternoon activities, school holiday and weekends programs.

Pathways 2 Possibilities (P2P)

For older students and school leavers who want to try new things and practice skills needed for the next steps in life (Wangaratta)

Cre8 

Practical and creative workshops where you can try woodwork skills or learn how to fix and repair bikes and other practical skills. This program current runs in Wangaratta.
